ARTICLE V – OFFICERS

Section 1. – President

A. The President shall serve as the executive head of the Chamber and preside at all membership meetings and the meeting of the Board of Directors.  He/She shall perform all duties incident to his/her office.

B. The President shall appoint special committees as necessary.

 

Section 2 – Vice President

A. The Vice President shall consult and advise the president.  His/her duties shall include but not be limited to matters pertaining to membership recruitment retention and jobs assignments from the President.

B. Shall president over all meetings in the absence of the President.

C. Vice President shall succeed the President for any portion of his/her unfilled term.

Section 3 – Secretary

A. The Secretary shall be legal correspondence of the organization and cause to

B. Be prepared notices and minutes of meeting of the general membership and the Board of Directors.

C. The Secretary shall be responsible for all public relations with all press releases to be approved by the President.

D. The Secretary shall preside over all meetings in the absence of the President, Vice President, and Treasurer.  The Secretary shall appoint a Secretary Pro Tem for that meeting only.

Section 4. – Treasurer

A. The Treasurer shall be responsible for the safe guarding of all funds received by the Chamber and for the proper disbursement.

B. The Treasurer shall cause a monthly financial report to be made to the Board of Directors and the general membership.

C. The Treasurer shall chair the finance committee and oversee the finances as outlined in Article VII.

D. The Treasurer shall preside over all meeting in the absence of the President and Vice President.
