Chamber Board Position

Position Duties & Responsibilities

President (Officer)

The President shall serve as the executive head of The Chamber of Commerce and preside at all general membership meetings and the meetings of the Board of Directors. He/She shall perform all duties incident to his/her office.
The President shall not serve as a chairperson of any other committees.

Vice President & Chairperson of the
Membership & Networking Committee (Officer)

The Vice President shall consult and advise the President. His/Her duties shall include but not be limited to matters pertaining to membership, recruitment, retention and job assignments from the President.
Shall preside over all meetings in the absence of the President.
The Vice President shall serve as the chairperson of the Membership & Networking Committee.

Treasurer & Chairperson of the Finance Committee (Officer)

The Treasurer shall be responsible for the safe-guarding of all funds received by the Chamber and for the proper disbursement of such funds.
The Treasurer shall create a financial report for the  Board of Directors at frequent intervals or as requested by the Board. The Treasurer shall serve as chairperson of the Finance Committee.

Secretary (Officer)

The Secretary shall sign legal correspondence of the organization and shall prepare notices and minutes of meetings of the general membership and the Board of Directors. The Secretary shall be responsible for all public relations with all press releases to be approved by the President. The Secretary shall not serve as a chairperson of any other committees.

Director-1 & Chairperson of the
Marketing & Promotion Committee

The Director-1 position will hold a voting seat on the Board of Directors and will be responsible for working with the Chamber officers on the strategic planning for the Chamber.
Director-1 shall serve as chairperson of the Marketing & Promotion Committee.

Director-2 & Chairperson of the
Special Events Committee

The Director-2 position will hold a voting seat on the Board of Directors and will be responsible for working with the Chamber officers on the strategic planning for the Chamber.
Director-2 shall serve as chairperson of the Special Events Committee.

Director-3 & Chairperson of the
Community Relations / Communications Committee

The Director-3 position will hold a voting seat on the Board of Directors and will be responsible for working with the Chamber officers on the strategic planning for the Chamber.
Director-3 shall serve as chairperson of the Community Relations / Communications Committee.
