Show Your Team Spirit!
The 2014 ZB Homecoming events are fast approaching. On Friday, October 10, 2014 at 7:30 pm, our Fighting ZB Football Team will take on the Stevenson Patriots. The Homecoming Dance will take place at ZBTHS on Saturday, October 11, 2014 beginning at 7:00 pm.
We’re calling on the business community to show your support for our Bees. Students from the high school will be painting storefront windows with message of team support during the beginning of October.
Local businesses who participate are asked to provide the paint, paint brushes, small cups for paint, paper towels, and window cleaning solution for their location. The students will provide the manpower to both decorate and clean up. Participating businesses will receive a copy of their sign-up form with the name of the team/club that will be painting and cleaning your windows so everyone has contact information to confirm painting and cleaning dates/times.
This is a terrific way to show your community spirit. We are hoping to get as many businesses as possible to participate.
For questions regarding this event, please call Jack Niemi, Assistant Principal, at 847-731-9305 or email him at NiemiJ@zbths.org.
Fax completed sign up forms to ZBTHS at (847) 731-4408 Attn: J Niemi.

The Winthrop Harbor Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome all new residents and visitors to our beautiful ever-changing village of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois!
Our Village is a growing community nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan and has the distinction of being the northeastern most point in Illinois.
While J. H. Van Vlissingen made plans for development in 1883, Winthrop Harbor was not platted until 1899, when the Winthrop Harbor and Dock Company assumed ownership of more than two thousand acres. The village was incorporated in 1901.
Winthrop Harbor is a Village rich in history and opportunity. In 1989, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources opened the North Point Marina - the largest Marina on the Great Lakes with over 1,500 boat slips, plus public beaches, recreation facilities and "second-to-none" charter fishing and the Yacht Club. The marina includes a 240-acre forest preserve.
As you travel around our Village and surrounding areas, you will notice the many wonderful attractions in our area, such as parks, historic sites, churches, golf courses, shops, restaurants and beautiful tree lined streets.
The Winthrop Harbor Chamber of Commerce Board looks forward to continued service to the community, businesses, residents and visitors of our fine Village.
